Amber is the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Major Gifts at South Puget Sound Community College Foundation. Her previous role was the Executive Director for Washington YMCA Youth & Government. Amber brings over 12 years of fundraising experience in the non-profit sector. She has experience in youth development programming and fundraising for youth development, youth civics programs, and higher education.
Her favorite part of her job is building relationships with donors and stakeholders in the community. She also enjoys working with Board of Directors to meet goals and partner in strategic planning.

Amber is enthusiastic to re-engage with South Sound Partners for Philanthropy. As a previous board member, she has missed the monthly connection with other fundraising professionals. Amber brings a diverse background of experience in fundraising and board work from local, statewide, and national non-profit perspectives. In her current role, she works closely with foundations and organizations on major gifts and multi-year commitments.

In her free time, Amber enjoys camping, water sports, and traveling. She has two teenage sons in Olympia. A fun fact about Amber is that she was a professional baker in Seattle for 10 years before venturing back into the non-profit world when moving to Olympia 12 years ago.
