Mary Lam-Witcher is the Philanthropy & Communications Officer at the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound, a nonprofit organization founded in 1989 focused on growing a lasting culture of generosity and well-being for Lewis, Mason, and Thurston County communities. The Foundation furthers its charitable mission by working alongside individuals, families, and businesses to realize their philanthropic goals, invest in community solutions, and support the organizations that make the region vibrant and healthy. Mary joined the Community Foundation’s team in March 2022 in her current role.

Serving diverse nonprofit teams since 2013, Mary has developed skills in project and event management, fund development, and the art of building lasting relationships through empathy and clear communication. Prior to her role at the Community Foundation, Mary relocated from South Florida to Olympia with her husband Jim and served as the Development Director at CIELO Programs.
